Contest Overview
The Northeast Regional Steering Committee (RSC) of the National Farm to School Network put out a call for great recipes – recipes for farm to school success! Participants had a chance to win $500 in cash prizes, free registrations to the Farm to Institution Summit, and an opportunity to present and share their great work.
We weren't looking for cooking recipes, rather, for great activities, lessons, strategies and projects that improve food and farm education, school meal programs, farm to school connections and more. The Farm to School Recipes for Success contest was designed to find and share the most innovative projects and ideas in Northeast Farm to School programs.
