Laura is a part-time research associate at Farm to Institution New England. Originally from Illinois, Laura has spent the last few years working on small farms and community gardening organizations across Massachusetts. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Agriculture Food and Environment at Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, where her graduate work focuses on sustainable diets and regional food systems. In her free time, Laura enjoys scouting out new food finds and tending her back porch garden.
