Amanda Landry is the part-time communications associate at Farm to Institution New England. After receiving her B.S. in Environmental and Resource Economics from the University of New Hampshire, Amanda moved to Vermont where she pursued her passion for food system work. She worked for an organic vegetable and fruit operation for several years at Shelburne Farms and then went on to manage an online local food market for the Rutland Area Farm and Food Link. Amanda was a Sustainable Agriculture volunteer for the United States Peace Corps in the southern region of Senegal. She will commence her graduate studies in 2019 at the Carsey Institute for Public Policy at UNH. Currently Amanda lives in Shoreham, Vermont with her husband and son where they own a small beef farm.
