2015 TEDxManhattan Award “Changing the Way We Eat” Call For Entries
TEDxManhattan “Changing the Way We Eat” welcomes your submission for our 2015 TEDx Manhattan Award, to be given out live at the March 7, 2015, TEDxManhattan event
Here's more information directly from the award organizers:
We are actively seeking entrants like you: innovative, results-oriented, creative individuals, groups or companies working in the sustainable food and farming field. The goal of the Award is to promote groundbreaking work and innovative solutions to our broken food system, as well as to help the winner achieve his/her goals. Entrants can be from anywhere in the world.
The winner will be provided time on the TEDxManhattan stage and will be introduced to the TEDxManhattan community. The Award will help to elevate the visibility of the project and the winner, as well as to assist in providing tangible support from the TEDxManhattan community for the success of the work, whether monetary, in-kind, or through mentoring and collaborative support.
Work must be focused on creatively raising awareness or solving a critical problem with the food system. Creativity and innovation are strongly encouraged! Projects may be nonprofit or for-profit. They can be launched and in operation, or they can be in the end phases of development. Both actual and potential impact will be evaluated. Any field within sustainable food and farming is eligible, including health, environment, production, distribution, access, awareness raising, education, creative/artistic, etc.
We invite you to apply, as well as nominate your favorite group, company or person today!
