FINE Team Transitions: Staff Changes Bring Growth & Opportunity

As seasons change and spring turns to summer, we find the FINE staff team transitioning too. We are excited to welcome back Dana Stevens from maternity leave and receive her daughter Bennett Avery Glick into the FINE family. Dana is focussing her time on coordinating the 2019 New England Farm to Institution Summit and supporting our New England Farm & Sea to Campus Network.

Mike Zastoupil, our interim campus program coordinator, finished his role on June 1st and moved with his wife to Minnesota, where he plans to continue his work on food system change. Mike did an incredible job filling in this key role during Dana’s absence. He also authored our “Keep on Tracking” report (to be published within the month) and provided key assistance with research and other projects.

The FINE team is also growing! This summer, FINE is fortunate to be working with three interns: Laura Gallagher (metrics intern), Amanda Landry (communications intern), and Emily Barbour (research intern). Additionally, we’ve brought on Erica Morrell as our farm to institution policy fellow, who will be working through spring 2019. Will you join us in welcoming them? You can reach all of our team members at [email protected].

Once you get to our team page, you can click on each person's name to read their biography.

Lastly, we are currently reviewing applications for a new full-time director of programs, who will help FINE strategically across many program areas including our farm and sea to campus programs and work with food service management companies. The team is looking forward to the added operations and development capacity this position will add to our work. Stay tuned to find out who will fill this key role!
