Getting it There: The Role of New England Food Distributors in Providing Local Food to Institutions
On September 21st, 2017, FINE hosted a webinar on the role of food distributors in providing local food to New England schools, colleges, hospitals and other institutions. Our presentation provided recommendations for government agencies, funders and nonprofits, food distributors, and institutions that want to support our New England agricultural economy. The webinar features finding from our August 2016 research report on food distribution.

In case you're curious, most of the webinar registrants are from New England and New York, along with others from across the United States and Canada. In all, registrants represented 20 states and two provinces. They work at a variety of entities, including colleges, hospitals, K-12 schools, nonprofits, government agencies, public health agencies, foundations, small businesses, and more.
